Yangon – Twante – Ma U Bin – Shwe Laung – Latputta (Yay Wai Village) – Maw Kyun – Bogalay – Kyaiklatt – Twante – Yangon
Itinerary ( 5 Days / 4 Nights )
Day 1: Yangon – Twante – Ma U Bin – Shwe Laung
We will leave RV Mahaythi at 7:AM in the morning from Hledan Jetty. The ship will be start sailing from Yangon at around 7:30AM and expected to arrive Twante at around 10AM in the morning. Sightseeing Twante on a horse cart (or) trishwas is famous in the area and we will arrange for the sightseeing tour. Highlights are Twante vegetable market, pottery making works, and Shwesandaw Pagoda which was known to be built 25 years earlier than Shwedagon Pagoda and which is also said to be inherited with Buddha hair relics.
Lunch will be provided on board. Then we will continue sailing to Ma U Bin, one of the major trading towns local in Ayeyarwaddy Delta. After visiting to Ma U Bin , next we will sail to Shwe Laung.
Dinner will be provided on board and the night will be spent on board as well.
Day 2: Shwe Laung – Wakema – Sakamyar- Laputta
After having breakfast onboard, we will depart from Shwe Laung and set sail to Wakema. Wakema is also another famous trading city of Delta region filled with dock yards, rice mills and vermicelli factories. Lunch will be provided onboard then we will continue to Sakamyar village and take a walk around the village’s street. Dinner on board while the cruise proceeds sail to Laputta and the night will be spent on board.
Day 3: Laputta – Yay wai Village
After having breakfast we will set sail to Yay wai village and arrive the village around afternoon time. Lunch will be provided on board. Once we reach the village, we will visit the village for a short period of time. We will have a chance to see the rehabilitation works for cyclone nargis everywhere. After visiting the village, take a boat to the mount of river, where water flows into the Bay of Bengal. Then we will head back to the village and night will be spent onboard.
Day 4: Yay Wai Village – Laputta – Maw Kyun – Bogalay – Kyaiklatt
After breakfast drive to Maw Kyun, visit around town for a while and then proceed to Bogalay. After visit Bogalay sail to Kyaiklatt and arrive Kyaiklatt at night. Lunch and Dinner onboard. Overnight onboard.
Day 5: Kyaiklatt – Twante – Yangon
After breakfast a short visit at Kyaiklatt. Then take a boat to Yangon. Arrive Yangon around late afternoon.
